Haier appoints new Managing Director for UK and Ireland

A premium global appliance brand has appointed a new Managing Director to lead its UK and Ireland operations.

Jim McEwan, former Chief Commercial Officer, has taken the helm at Haier UK & Ireland, effective from Monday 11th May. He steps into the role following Diego Perrone's departure as Managing Director in April.

Mr McEwan brings more than six and a half years at Haier UK and over two decades of experience in the home appliances industry. His deep understanding of the brands, customers and the long-term strategy positions him to lead the business through its next phase of growth.

Mr McEwan said: "I'm genuinely excited to take on this role at such a pivotal moment for Haier UK & Ireland.
